Claire Benoit was a classmate of Casey Cooke and a friend of Marcia, who was kidnapped and killed by "Dennis" to be sacrificed to "The Beast".

Background[]
Claire was Marcia's best friend and Casey Cooke's classmate. Both she and Marcia were popular in high school.
Throughout Split[]
In her first act, Claire is seen at a mall party taking pictures with Marcia and her classmates, minus Casey who was sitting in the back alone.
Shortly after when the party ended, Claire is seeing talking to her father, who only invited Casey because she thought it would be weird to exclude just one person from her art class.
After the kidnapping, Claire tries to convince them to jump on "Dennis", one of Kevin Wendell Crumb's personalities, revealing that she did karate for six months.
During her captivity, Claire attempted to escape, breaking a panel in the ceiling and running away in the tunnels, hiding in a locket, unfortunately she was quickly found and captured and isolated from Casey and Marcia.
Death[]
Later that night, Dr. Karen Fletcher discovered Claire and tried to help her only to unfortunately die. Claire then convinced Marcia (who was also isolated from Casey) to try once again to attempt an escape after she found a clothes hanger. However, she didn't survive long enough, having been stopped by "The Beast" and then brutally killed. Casey, tried to help her, but didn't have time to save her.
